Steven Pressland is Director of Product Management at Qlik, where he guides the company’s AI and Machine Learning strategy. He and his team are behind innovations like Qlik Predict and Qlik Answers, helping customers achieve higher-value outcomes by embedding AI into their existing use cases and unlocking entirely new ones. Passionate about making advanced analytics accessible, he focuses on bridging the gap between AI capabilities and real-world business impact.

As Qlik’s Senior Director of Solution Architects, Armstrong is responsible for building and nurturing a team of solution professionals across Asia Pacific and Japan. He is a seasoned Data Analytics practitioner with 23 years of experience providing innovative solutions across the region in a presales or consulting capacity.

A firm believer of understanding business pains and goals, he cultivates deep relationships at high levels with customers and partners. Prior to Qlik, Armstrong has led Data Warehousing and Analytics projects across several banks and financial services firms. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of the Philippines and resides in Sydney, Australia with his wife and three kids.

In his current role, Varun leads the Government Sales practice in India for Qlik.

With a career spanning over two decades, Varun has focused on facilitating business growth through technology-enabled solutions for customers worldwide. He possesses extensive experience working across diverse industries, including technology, consumer durables, healthcare, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Qlik in 2020, Varun has worked with organizations like Philips, Accenture, and Infosys.

Varun holds an MBA from IIM Indore, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from MDU Rohtak.
