As Chief Strategy Officer, James oversees Qlik’s Corporate Strategy including Qlik's vision; strategic planning; market development and intelligence; corporate development and M&A activity; and Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility, which has been a long-term strength at the heart of Qlik’s culture. Prior to becoming Chief Strategy Officer, James first served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing and most recently as Chief Product Officer.

James has two decades of experience in global software and consulting businesses focusing on analytics, performance management, finance, and mobile solutions. Prior to joining Qlik, he ran product marketing for analytics, mobile and finance solutions at SAP. He also previously held various marketing and consulting roles at BusinessObjects, Cartesis and PwC.

James resides in the UK and holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Kingston University.

Chong Yang Chan is the Managing Director of Qlik ASEAN. He is responsible for leading Qlik’s regional operations while empowering brands to improve their data pipelines, uncover growth opportunities and solve business problems by utilising data.

A veteran in the enterprise technology sector with more than twenty years of experience, he has successfully helped customers in Singapore such as GovTech, Singapore Tourism Board and UOB, as well as customers across ASEAN to quantify positive returns from their investment while untapping innovative opportunities which could only be discovered through data analytics.

As a leader, Chong Yang believes in the importance of constant innovation. He typically encourages his team to apply critical thinking to draw similarities between case studies in different sectors to solve problems. He also adopts a lifelong learning approach by continually developing his data analytical and leadership skills.

Prior to joining Qlik, Chong Yang was a Sales Director for Oracle, Informatica and most recently, Talend. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.

As Senior Director of APAC Presales, Armstrong is responsible for building and nurturing a team of exceptional presales professionals across Asia Pacific and Japan. He is a seasoned Data Analytics practitioner with over 20 years of experience providing innovative solutions across the region in a presales or consulting capacity.

A firm believer of understanding business pains and goals, he cultivates deep relationships at high levels with customers and partners. Prior to Qlik, Armstrong has led Data Warehousing and Analytics projects across a number of banks and financial services firms. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of the Philippines and resides in Sydney, Australia with his wife and three kids.

I have been working in IT for over 20 years; through various roles I have gained a lot of experience in enterprise search, knowledge management, e-commerce and many other topics. I have been with Qlik for more than 10 years now with a focus on technology alliances and data integration, covering the EMEA and APAC region.

Richard Goh is the head of business development for Singapore public sector business at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a Generative AI Ambassador of AWS. He also manages the Singapore Cloud Innovation Center for AWS, a global initiative that helps AWS’ public sector customers innovate using Amazon’s Working Backwards mechanism and cloud technologies. Prior to joining AWS, he spent 6 years in SkillsFuture Singapore working on utilizing technology to augment and support the national SkillsFuture movement. He lead technical teams in moving systems to the cloud, modernising systems and pioneered the use of AI, machine learning and blockchain technologies for fraud prevention, skills and training discovery and automation of processes. He started his career as a researcher in AI before spending 15 years in management and tech consulting, helping various MNCs, government and financial organisations with business process automation and technology strategies.
