When the pandemic started, Covid testing the patients arriving at hospital and admitting them to the correct ward was a major challenge. One bad outcome could result in Covid outbreaks. Barts NHS, implemented Qlik Alerting using email and mobile phones in a matter of days for the clinical and operations teams. As soon as the pathology test data was received out of the testing platform, notifications enabled clinical teams to take action and admit patients accordingly. These alerts were so useful, that it became a lifeline for our clinical and operations teams. Based on the success of Covid Alerts, the teams demanded alerts be set up for other pathology tests as well i.e. MRSA, Flu, Monkey pox. which are now set up and running successfully . The entire process is automated and running without any human intervention. Clinical teams say that this has improved the patient journey and saved a number of lives as they have critical information delivered so quickly and easily.

Mayborn Group has moved from building a foundation Data Strategy to implementation of an end to end data platform to drive data transformation. Mayborn planned and implemented a global migration program from Qlik Sense Client Managed to a Qlik Cloud platform and built out a plan for environment configuration and app migration planning and testing, to end user training and support materials.
