Ruhul Amin
Ruhul Amin, leads an SAP team in BUMA (PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama), one of the largest mining companies in Indoensia. With his more than 8 years of solid experience in SAP Data Integration for enterprise systems and modern Big Data/Cloud platforms, he has spent those years in BUMA for various roles; from SAP Technical Support, Database, system, and data engineer.
Ruhul previously engaining professional services for cloud solutions. There Ruhul played a significant role in the compliance of data security, near real-time data integration design, best practice approach and professional services. accelerating strategy by real-time data and providing a comprehensive cloud or onprime platform that leverages data and analytics.
Ruhul has extensive projects deployment experiences in implementing SAP projects, leading a team of 10 to execute from development, UAT to project go-live. Ruhul holds a Degree from AMIKON University. Major in Computer and Electronic Engineering.
Chong Yang Chan
Chong Yang Chan is the Managing Director of Qlik ASEAN. He is responsible for leading Qlik’s regional operations while empowering brands to improve their data pipelines, uncover growth opportunities and solve business problems by utilising data.
A veteran in the enterprise technology sector with more than twenty years of experience, he has successfully helped customers in Singapore such as GovTech, Singapore Tourism Board and UOB, as well as customers across ASEAN to quantify positive returns from their investment while untapping innovative opportunities which could only be discovered through data analytics.
As a leader, Chong Yang believes in the importance of constant innovation. He typically encourages his team to apply critical thinking to draw similarities between case studies in different sectors to solve problems. He also adopts a lifelong learning approach by continually developing his data analytical and leadership skills.
Prior to joining Qlik, Chong Yang was a Sales Director for Oracle, Informatica and most recently, Talend. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
Alan IAU S.L.
Alan IAU, leads South East Asia business and team for Qlik Data Integration. Qlik’s mission is to be a leader in the Analytics Economy and modernizing analytics environments to enable digital transformation, embracing DataOps initiatives.
Alan has 20 years of experience in the Data Integration business for Legacy systems and modern Big Data/Cloud platforms, he has spent two decades of those years at Qlik / Attunity in various roles; from Professional Services, Pre-Sales and Sales in the APAC region to build a strong business partners network and customers base for end-to-end Data Integration market in the region. In addition to his extensive experience in high-growth PaaS companies, Alan was previously engaining professional services to insurance for PaaS solutions. There he played a significant role in the compliance of data security, near real-time data integration design, best practice approach, professional services and go-to-market operations, accelerating go-to-market strategy by real-time data and providing a comprehensive cloud platform that leverages data and analytics for insurance vertical market.
Prior to the Sales Director role, Alan held Professional Services manager positions leading a team of 5 specialists from legacy to open systems for data integration as well as B2B initiatives in years 2000-2002 He also held data architect responsibilities to assist the APAC Sales team to close the significant enterprise projects from the year 2003 – 2008. Alan was developing the first partnership in Japan market in the year 2007 building a strong foundation of Qlik Data integration (former Attunity) OEM solution. Alan also has extensive projects experience in India, Pakistan and Mongolia region. From the year 2009 to 2020, Alan’s managed the business in the APAC region year by year with significant growth and 4 times President Club winner.
Alan holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Newcastle, England. Major in Computer and Electronic Engineering and Minor in Finance and Japanese.
Suan Loke Tan
Mr. Tan Suan Loke has been working with enterprise data acquisition for more than 2 decades, bringing with him real world experience integrating data across heterogeneous system. Synchronizing data across legacy systems, on-premise and cloud can be a challenge, and Mr. Tan has been working with many organizations that struggles with such needs. By equipping organizations with the right tools, projects do complete sooner, and critical decisions can be made with reliable data.
Taib Lokman
Taib is a business technology leader with 20+ years of experience in data management, data governance and data analytics. His expertise is working with business and technology leaders to implement the right data strategy to support key initiatives such as large scale data and digital transformation. He has a strong understanding of people, information systems, information management and processes.
Areas of work include strategic data platform planning, data management and operations. He loves solving data challenges and help companies be more competitive.
Prior to joining Qlik, he has worked for companies such as SAP, ServiceSource, Informatica and Talend as a Technologist, Sales and Sales leadership roles.
