In her May 2021 memorandum, Creating Data Advantage, Deputy Secretary of Defense, Dr. Kathleen Hicks, named the Advana platform as the single enterprise authoritative data management and analytics platform for the DOD. The purpose of Advana is to make data widely accessible, understandable, and actionable across the DOD enterprise by translating common enterprise data into profound yet actionable insights and outcomes for the decision maker. Mike Capone
CEO, Qlik
Mike leads Qlik’s mission to create a data-literate world, one where people, businesses, organizations and governments tackle their most complex challenges with data. He has first-hand experience in leveraging the power of data through analytics to transform businesses and entire industries.
In addition to his extensive experience in high-growth SaaS companies, Mike was the COO of Medidata Solutions, a publicly-traded provider of SaaS analytics solutions to the healthcare, life sciences and pharma markets. There he played a significant role in the company’s product development, data science, professional services and go-to-market operations, guiding its strategy to provide a comprehensive cloud platform that leverages data and analytics to transform clinical trials.
Prior to Medidata, Mike held senior leadership positions at ADP, including Corporate Vice President of Product Development & CIO, and SVP & General Manager of ADP’s global outsourcing business. He was also head of product development and technology operations for ADP, one of the world’s largest B2B cloud services providers, delivering critical services to over 600,000 companies and 39 million of their staff members worldwide.
Mike holds a BS in Computer Science from Dickinson College and an MBA in Finance from Pace University.
Andrew Churchill
Vice President - Federal, Qlik
Andrew Churchill is Vice President of Federal at Qlik, where he leads Qlik’s Federal go-to-market strategy and customer success initiatives. His leadership responsibilities include all facets of the business, from sales and marketing to implementation. Andrew has spent 25 years supporting government IT initiatives. Prior to joining Qlik he led sales efforts at Informatica and has worked at Network General, Plumtree Software, and Platinum Technology. Andrew is a graduate of Denison University where he received a BA in Economics and German.
Blake Evans
Elections Director, GA Secretary of State
Blake earned his Master’s in Public Administration and Graduate Certificate of Election Administration from Auburn University. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Minor in Community and Civic Engagement from Auburn. He has worked in two county election offices, the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Office in Pensacola, Florida, and the Fulton County Registration and Elections Department in Atlanta, Georgia. He currently serves as the Elections Director in Georgia’s Secretary of State’s (SOS) Office. He previously worked as the Deputy Elections Division Director in the SOS office. Blake resides in Fayetteville, GA with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children, Caroline (4 years old) and Nolan (2 years old).
Jeff Dodson
Senior Solution Architect, Qlik
Jeff is a Senior Solution Architect at Qlik supporting the U.S. Public Sector and has been in the data and analytics space for over 9 years now. He has always had a particular interest in Machine Learning and AI and has thus taken on Qlik's AutoML capabilities as a specialty of his. Jeff is also a published author in the cybersecurity space and has guest lectured at the University of Maryland discussing real-world use cases of AI and Big Data.

Hi, I'm Jim Penn and I've been with Qlik now for more than 3 years. I've been in a Presales role for the past 17 years supporting Public Sector Customers with analytics and data integration initiatives. Before my Presales role, I spent another 17 years in Services Consulting focusing on building analytics and data integration solutions. My current focus at Qlik is as a Data Integration Solutions Architect supporting the US Federal Government.

Deputy Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer of Business Analytics - Pentagon
Gregory B. Little is the Deputy Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer of Business Analytics, Pentagon, Virginia. He is responsible for enabling DoD organizations to leverage data, analytics, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) to accelerate innovation and mission impact. The Business Analytics directorate aims to provide the DoD with enterprise capabilities and services that allow business and warfighting operators to tap into data to achieve decision advantage. In addition, Mr. Little serves as the program lead for Advana, the DoD’s premiere enterprise data, analytics, and AI platform capability.
Jordan Morrow
Vice President and Head of Data And Analytics - BrainStorm, Inc.
Jordan Morrow is known as the "Godfather of Data Literacy", having helped pioneer the field by building one of the world's first data literacy programs and driving thought leadership. Jordan is Vice President and Head of Data And Analytics at BrainStorm, Inc., and a global trailblazer in the world of data literacy. He served as the Chair of the Advisory Board for The Data Literacy Project, has spoken at numerous conferences around the world, and is an active voice in the data and analytics community. He has also helped companies and organizations around the world, including the United Nations, build and understand data literacy.
When not found within his work of Data, Jordan is married with 5 kids. Jordan is also an avid trail runner and loves fitness, entering and racing in multiple ultra-marathons, and having fun adventures in the mountains. Jordan loves to read, often reading (or using Audible) to go through multiple books at a time. Jordan is the author of two books: Be Data Literate and Be Data Driven.

Denise LaForgia
Senior Director - Product Marketing, Qlik
In her current role as Senior Director of Product Marketing at Qlik, Denise leads messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategies for Qlik’s analytics portfolio. During her time at Qlik, Denise also led the launches of Qlik’s first cloud analytics solutions. Prior to joining Qlik, Denise led marketing strategies and new product launches for enterprise data quality, data governance, CRM, and big data solutions. Denise currently resides in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Lori Mongold
Division Chief, Strategic Operations Enterprise Global Force Information Management Capability Management Officer (GFIM CMO), Pentagon
Ms. Lori Mongold assumed the role of GFIM CMO, HQDA G3/5/7 at the Pentagon in March 2018. As the GFIM CMO, she is responsible for the management and oversight of requirements/resourcing of the legacy business systems that comprise the GFIM portfolio, the functional lead for the requirements and resourcing of the GFIM objective environment, the functional and technical lead for the G3 Data Lake, and the functional and technical lead for the G3 Analytical Tool. Additionally, she also serves as the G3 Data Steward.
On 10 January 2022, Ms.Mongold assumed oversight responsibilities for the Training and Readiness Domain of the Business Mission Area and CMO responsibilities for ATIS – the Army’s Enterprise Training Information System. This places all functional oversight of the Deploy to Redeploy and Retrograde of Materiel end to end business process within Ms.Mongold’s day to day oversight and management.
Ms. Mongold has over 30 years of experience in supporting the Army with a diverse background in program management, force management, and readiness. She has worked at the Pentagon, the US Army Force Management Support Agency, the Joint Force Headquarters/Military District of Washington, and the US Army Reserve.
Ms. Mongold holds certifications in program management, information technology, data management, force management, and production quality management. She has been in or in support of the Army since 1994. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in English and Theatre.
She currently resides in Petersburg, WV and is the proud Mimi to 3 wonderful grandchildren: Caiden age 8, Bryce age 4, Reagan age 2, and is awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter, Nova Lee.
Mike Hettinger
President and Founding Principal – Hettinger Strategy Group
A former House of Representatives Republican Leadership chief of staff and committee staff director, Mike Hettinger is the president and founding principal of Hettinger Strategy Group LLC (HSG), a full-service government relations, federal marketing and public affairs firm headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. HSG represents the interests of many of Silicon Valley’s most innovative companies in Washington. Hettinger founded the firm in 2014 after leaving TechAmerica, where he was senior vice president for both public sector and federal government affairs. Hettinger is a highly regarded expert in information technology policy and one of the leading technology lobbyists in Washington, having been named a "Top Hired Gun Lobbyist" for 4 years running (2018-2021) by The Hill.
Prior to joining TechAmerica, Hettinger was head of the Public Sector Innovation Group at the Software and Information Industry Association. Before going to SIIA, Hettinger was Executive Director in charge of Strategic Planning, Government Relations and Market Development in Grant Thornton’s Global Public Sector Practice. Mr. Hettinger joined Grant Thornton from the House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform, Subcommittee on Government Management, Finance and Accountability, where he served as staff director.
Hettinger has an extensive background in lobbying and public affairs, having served as a Public Policy Counselor at Patton Boggs LLP where he oversaw large-scale lobbying and public affairs campaigns. Prior to joining Patton Boggs, Hettinger was Chief of Staff to former U.S. Representative Tom Davis of Virginia.
Mr. Hettinger is a regular contributor to Government Matters TV, which airs in Washington, DC five nights a week on News Channel 8 / ABC 7 as well as a frequent contributor to the public dialogue in the trade press and related media.
Karen Laughton
Vice President, Compliance Advisory – Coalfire Systems
Karen is the Vice President of Compliance Advisory Services at Coalfire Systems, where she leads a team focused on advising commercial organizations in preparation for assessments against Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Service Organization Control (SOC), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)/Health Information Trust (HITRUST), and Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements.
Karen joined Coalfire in 2014 and has over 17 years of compliance experience in both the public and private sectors. She assists C-suite executives of leading cloud service providers in building their go-to-market strategy for transitioning into the Federal market and determining the simplest, most cost-effective path for achieving their business and technical/security goals. She sets the vision and strategy for growing Coalfire's compliance and engineering capabilities to meet client needs and serves as a mentor to a rapidly growing team.

Matthew T. Cornelius
Former Senior Professional Staff for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (Majority Staff)
Matthew recently served as a Senior Professional Staff Member for Chairman Gary C. Peters on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC). In that role, he handled a wide array of government operations, budget, appropriations, and oversight issues, including Federal management and performance, regulatory reform, shared services, and a variety of other cross-cutting program implementation efforts.
Prior to his role in Congress, he served as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Digital Innovation (ADI) - a coalition of customer-focused commercial companies helping to shape government IT modernization efforts through effective advocacy and thought leadership.
Prior to ADI, Matthew was a Senior Advisor for Technology and Cybersecurity Policy at the White House's Office of Management and Budget (OMB). In that role, he was primarily responsible for leading numerous government-wide IT modernization and cybersecurity initiatives, including the IT Modernization Cross Agency Priority Goal and the establishment of the Technology Modernization Fund. Before OMB, Matthew served as the Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity to the Administrator of the General Services Administration and he began his Federal career as a Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
